Abstract: This research evaluates the effectiveness of industry-sponsored scholarships in supporting vocational education in Nigeria, examining their impact on student access, retention, and career outcomes in technical training programs. Industry-sponsored scholarships play a crucial role in reducing financial barriers, attracting talent, and fostering industry engagement in vocational education, providing students with financial support and career development opportunities essential for career success. The study aims to (1) assess the accessibility and utilization of industry-sponsored scholarships among vocational students, (2) examine the impact of scholarships on student academic achievement, retention rates, and employment outcomes in vocational programs, and (3) propose recommendations for optimizing scholarship programs to enhance student access, equity, and educational attainment in vocational education. A survey research design is justified to gather insights from vocational students, scholarship recipients, and industry sponsors involved in scholarship initiatives. A sample size of 400 participants will be chosen through purposive sampling to represent vocational students, scholarship recipients, and industry representatives in Ogun State. Case studies will examine successful scholarship programs and their outcomes in promoting student success and workforce integration. Findings indicated positive impacts of industry-sponsored scholarships on student enrollment and retention, identified challenges such as scholarship availability and eligibility criteria disparities, and highlighted the role of mentorship and career development support in maximizing scholarship benefits. Recommendations include expanding scholarship opportunities, enhancing mentorship programs, and promoting collaboration between industry partners and educational institutions to ensure equitable access and sustainable support for vocational students pursuing technical education pathways.
